EKOM spol. s r.o. has been awarded second place at IPM AWARDS 2026, a competition organised by IPM SOLUTIONS as part of the ProTEK 2026 Technical Conference.

The competition is open to engineers and development teams from Slovak manufacturing companies working with PTC software — including the Creo CAD system and Windchill PLM platform. Projects were evaluated on design quality, structural approach, and engineering execution, with voting open to the professional public through an online form.

EKOM entered the DK50 9×4VRT/M compressor station — a product designed for large-scale healthcare installations. The station consists of nine aggregates on a single frame — if one unit fails, the remaining ones maintain continuous operation automatically. The project was developed by Ing. Patrik Zelinka.
